Sèvres Style Royal Céleste Tazza with Portrait of King Louis XIII in Encaustic - S+

This piece dates back to the 18th century. The base bears the company mark in blue and a golden crown mark, with "Louis XIII" written in red on the bottom edge of the base, as shown in the second image. It measures approximately 4 3/4 inches in height and 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The interior of the bowl features an intricately hand-painted profile portrait of Louis XIII. The surrounding area and rim are decorated with flowers against what I would call a celestial blue background. The gold enamel is very thick. The condition is excellent.
